noise .. and lots of it??

Found what I was looking for .If you follow this link,although he is talking about the 420 the principles are the same for 450.Check out his recommendations for set up.He really is good.

Go to the section about Shadow enhancing Gradation curve.I think this is the problem.Note what is said about doubling the noise in shadows when using this at wrong time.

Try bringing down your f stop 5.6 set to cloud using A. mode.

Why do you shoot at f22? F8 or as ed mentioned f5.6 is okay.
